PotD #92: Out in the Wilderness

Today I went out into the wilderness… I had face mask orders that needed posting, so I walked to the post box.

The day was lovely, there was a nice cool breeze and the sun was shining.

The issue was the people.

I know I should be quarantined for simply having an immune system disorder – therefore I’m high risk. But if we were all safe about it and practising social distancing – this wouldn’t be an issue for anyone.

But instead, people kept coming close.

When ever I could I quickly crossed the road, but people kept getting close – and when I couldn’t cross the road, they didn’t stop so that one of us could. They kept walking and wondered why I put my mask on…

It’s not hard to understand. Don’t get closer than two meters to someone you don’t live with. If you do, and you’ve been in contact with it, you could indirectly kill someone.

Use common sense, follow the rules of the pandemic. Wear a face mask and keep two meters apart.

If you have to leave the house, I hope you stay safe!
