Why I’m Unpublishing My Novels

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been removing my published novels from publishing sites.

Well, it’s simple really – publishing companies are a fucking nightmare. I started publishing in 2017 via Lulu. Which started off great, I put all my work on there, people were downloading my work and reading it. I was getting reviews! And it was great…

But it wasn’t how I wanted it to be. My work was being downloaded and distributed without my knowledge or consent. And it wasn’t being done by eager fans or readers who just wanted to share it around. It was being done by big companies that earn more money in a minute than I do in a decade. So, I decided to pull my work.

Somehow, some distribution sites still have my work on their site – Amazon being the prime example as my work was never intended to be uploaded to Amazon and somehow even after pulling it down from Lulu, it is still on the Amazon marketplace for SALE.

It’s great seeing people buy my work – people who think my work is worthy of their hard earned money. But it’s not what I’m here for. I’m here to write. Most of my novels were available in full on Google Books, which I didn’t ask for.

This is why I’m pulling down my work.

All my work will be converted into eBooks – PDFs so you can read it on anything! And to make it better, they’re free and easy to find. They’re on Our Books.

It gives me the freedom to move and change my books. It gives me the freedom to upload chapters instead of finished editions and give you previews of final versions. I hope you understand, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience.
